Takoma Village Cohousing is located in Washington, DC, in the block bounded by Aspen on the south, Butternut on the north, Blair Road on the east, and 4th St. N.W. on the west. We are just south of the historic Takoma Theater.

METRO:
Red Line to Takoma; upon exiting station, go under tracks; cross Cedar St. at first signal and take either 4th St. or Blair Road (equidistant) for one block to site, just beyond the historic Takoma Theater.

BICYCLE:
The planned Metropolitan Branch Trail will turn at the corner of TVC at Aspen St. and Blair Road. Currently, the best route from downtown is to cycle north on 11th St. NW to the end; left to 13th St.; right for 2 + blocks to right turn on Kansas Avenue (just beyond Spring Road); left on 3rd St.; left on Whittier (immediately before 3rd ends at Blair); right on 4th 1.5 blocks to site.

CAR:
From Capitol Hill:  North on North Capitol Street for a long way; shortly after crossing New Hampshire Ave., North Capitol becomes Blair Road; left on Butternut to park.

From downtown:  North on 13th St. NW; becomes Piney Branch Road (after crossing Missouri Ave. and shortly before crossing Georgia Ave.); right on Aspen St.; left on 4th to park.

From Capital Beltway:  Exit 31; take Georgia Avenue south through downtown Silver Spring; just past Sligo Avenue, go under the railroad overpass; go through the intersection at East-West Highway (Rt. 410); left at the next signal onto Blair Road; cross Piney Branch Road and then Cedar Street; either bear right on 4th for one block to park past the historic Takoma Theater, or straight on Blair one block to turn right on Butternut St. to park.
